Product with laxative action containing Macrogol 3350.

  • In chronic constipation
  • In case of bowel irregularity

Agpeg is a product with laxative action that balances bowel functions through an osmotic mechanism. It is not absorbed nor fermented in the bowel, it does not irritate the mucosa and it is excreted unmodified with feces. Agpeg is recommended in chronic constipation and in cases of occasional bowel irregularity. Due to its water affinity, Agpeg softens feces making evacuation easier. Its efficacy has a long-lasting effect.

Instruction for use
Dissolve the content of one sachet in about 1/2 glass of water (62,5 ml). Drink the solution thus reconstituted. It is recommended to take Agpeg away from meals.
Do not take Agpeg in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol, perforation and/or gastrointestinal obstruction, stomach or intestinal lesions known, severe inflammatory conditions of the intestinal tract such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon. During pregnancy and lactation, the product should be used under prescription.
Interactions with drugs are unknown, but it is appropriate that the intake of the product is separated by at least 2 hours from that of drugs administered orally because the osmotic power of the macrogol and the increase in gastrointestinal transit rate induced can adversely affect their action.
